“Your Screenplay Sucks”

akers-theater1A special screenwriting seminar led by Will Akers, lifetime member of WGA, produced scriptwriter, published author and University teacher.  An abridged version of his European event, Will covers the essentials you need to know to make sure your screenplay doesn’t suck.  He presents insights and lessons learned having written for actors, producers, television series and film studios.  This event, named after his iconic book, offers a full day of learning for Virginia’s accomplished and aspiring screenwriters, covering such topics as “There is No Method,” “Best Word Last,” “Discover Your Theme Partway Through,” “The Epoxy Theory” “French Rubber Stamp.” & “Why You Must Write Every Lead Character for Angelina Jolie.”

Choose either:
– the July 9th Norfolk Venue at WHRO-TV from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM or
-the July 10th Richmond Venue at BES STUDIOS fro 12:30 Pm to 8:30 PM
It is the same seminar at both locations.
